There are changes to our appointment times with effect from 1^st April 2010

The practice will continue to provide patient services during extended hours, but please note that there have been changes to our opening times. You can check our opening times, and all the choices available to patients in Sutton and Merton, by visiting NHS Choices:
http://www.nhs.uk. We will continue to work with patients to offer services at times that suit the majority of patients. If you would like to comment on the times when you can access appointments or have any other comments about the services we offer please contact our practice manager.

Practice Opening Hours

From 1st April 2010 our opening hours is changing to the following times:

Monday	7.00am	6.30pm
Tuesday	8.00am	6.30pm
Wednesday	8.00am	6.30pm
Thursday	7.00am	6.30pm
Friday	8.00am	6.30pm
Saturday	9.00am	11.00am

Please note

The extended hours are for booked appointments only.

There will be no late evening appointments.

THE GP PATIENT SURVEY (NHS)

Some patients registered with GP Surgeries will soon receive a questionnaire about their experiences of local health services. The survey covers issues that concerns patients, such as access to care and satisfaction with treatment.

If you receive a questionnaire, please fill it in and send it back as soon as you can. It is really important that we hear your views, even if you have received a questionnaire like this before. Your response will help us to improve the services we provide for patients.

Extended Surgery Opening Hours

Following consultation with our PCT and in response to patient feedback, we are increasing the current extended hours by offering one late evening surgery on Thursday as well as Saturday morning surgery.

From Monday 1st December 2008, the Practice will offer extra appointments on the following days:-

Monday (Early Morning) Between 7.00 – 8.00am
Thursday (Early Morning)-Between 7.00 – 8.00 am
Thursday (Late Evening) Between 6.30 – 8.30 pm
Saturday (Morning) Between 9.00 – 11.00 am

THIS IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Please note that during these extended opening times, you will not be able to attend for urgent problems. For anything urgent you will still need to contact the emergency doctors on call on Tel: 0845 603 1087

Welcome to New Members of Staff

Samantha and Louisa have joined our Practice team.

Samantha is the new receptionist and Louisa is our new practice secretary.

Debbie has moved on after 10 years of service to the team and the patients. We wish her all the best for the future.

Dr Kajal Patel is now on maternity leave and we wish her well. She will be back with us in February 2009

The New Building

The new Health Centre building is finished and we have moved in; we are no longer at the temporary site.

The new facility has been built on the site of the old premises and was designed in consultation with all of the staff who provide services there. The new building has larger consultation, examination and clinic rooms. Facilities for patients are much improved. Additionally the space will be much more flexible and multi-purpose meaning that the PCT can introduce new services at the clinic without having to spend significant money changing the rooms.

The Practice

The practice provides a complete range of medical services including GPs, maternity, family planning and minor surgery.

We are part of Sutton Primary Group.

The Old Building

In late 2005 Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust decided that they needed to provide better facilities for staff and patients because:

The premises could not be changed or modified any more to provide more and better services.
The Practices and clinics are seeing more and more patients but we cannot extend the current building to provide any more space for more staff and services.
The premises did not comply with the latest legislation such as the Disability Discrimination Act and the Health and Safety Act.
The design of the old building meant that we would not be able to make it comply.
