Health Visitor

Your health visitor is a qualified general nurse with further training in Community Health and all aspects of family health and well-being. Health visitors routinely visit families with children under the age of five years. They provide health assessments, information, advice and support to all age groups, particularly at times of physical or emotional stress. Many have additional qualifications and experience in different aspects of nursing, e.g. midwifery, sick children’s nursing and mental health.
