Patients over the age of one year needing same day consultations with the following symptoms can be seen in the Minor Illness Clinic which is run most days early morning/mid afternoon.

• Asthma
• Back Pain
• Bites & Stings
• Burns
• Colds & Flu
• Constipation
• Chronic Obstruction Airways Disease
• Coughs
• Diarrhoea / Vomiting
• Earache / Discharge
• Emergency Contraception
• Eye Infection / Soreness
• Fever
• Haemorrhoids
• Skin Infections
• Sore Throat
• Styes
• Upper Respiratory Tract Infection
• Urinary Tract Infection / Cystitis
• Wounds

There are some exclusions from the Minor Illness Clinic, which will require medical opinion:

• Under one year of age
• Pregnant
• Severe chest pain or severe difficulty breathing
• Having convulsions
• Coughing / vomiting blood
• Sudden loss of sight
• Rashes
• Bleeding profusely from any orifice
• Patients who only want to see the Doctor
